As an Industrial Electrician at Cargill, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting, which supports our commitment to producing safe, high-quality products efficiently. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilities. Troubleshoot and fix faults in electrical components and machinery. Ensure compliance with national safety codes and regulations. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize machine efficiencies. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications, and schematics to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Test electrical systems using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes. Strong knowledge of electrical systems including installation, maintenance, and repair. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Proficient in using electrical test equipment and tools. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
