What You Can Expect As a Retrofit / Blown In Installer, your day-to-day tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Air sealing in attics and basements to achieve air leakage reduction. Performing blower door tests. Using an infrared camera to inspect residential home for insulation defects. Responsible for loading and logging materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials per each job order Maintain tools and truck housekeeping, and maintenance Responsible for completing time card daily and ensuring it is submitted on time May be required to drive a company vehicle and follow all driving safety rules and DOT requirements at all times Responsible for completing paperwork per each job and returning to production coordinator daily Other duties as assigned To Be Successful High School diploma or GED Maintain a valid driver's license Experience in the construction industry Basic math skills Work in a dynamic environment Work independently or with a crew Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report to be completed, contingent upon employment. For Your Safety Use common hand tools; including scissors, utility knife, saws, pliers, and stapling hammer Work in tight places including attics and crawlspaces Lift a minimum of 50lbs Climb ladders and scaffolding Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees Stand for extended periods of time IBP is an equal opportunity employer.
