SnowSports School is looking for a Mountain Watch Supervisor. Previous mountain watch experience and guest service experience preferred.
Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
Communication with Flaik Developers and IT, troubleshooting system issues and concerns.
Staff supervision.
Scheduling and distribution of work assignments.
Monitoring overall Flaik operations.
Training Mountain Watch staff in Flaik and RTP systems.
Providing supervisors with daily updates.
Performing all Mountain Watch Staff responsibilities
Prepping and upkeep of Care Centers
Prep Steamboat Mountain Watch tags for distribution
Issue Steamboat Mountain Watch tags to students
Scan students into classes
Monitor Steamboat Mountain Watch system and answer phone
Assist teaching skiing/riding
Organize and clean the school house
Gather Steamboat Mountain Watch tags at end of day
Return Steamboat Mountain Watch tags to charger and verify functionality
Provide guest with general company information
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Attendance at required orientation and training sessions
Other duties, as assigned
Minimum skills, experience, education and ability for this job:
Previous guest service employment experience required
Previous Steamboat Mountain Watch experience preferred
Previous Ski or Snowboard Instruction preferred
Must enjoy working with children
At least average overall computer proficiency required
Must have previous experience interacting with others; ability to speak in front of groups
Must be able to multitask, follow directions, stay organized, and be aware of the needs of others
Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Companys Service Excellence standards
Physical Requirements:
Must be a minimum 18 years of age
Must be able to communicate clearly in English; Spanish language a plus
Must be able to operate computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Must be able to stand for long periods of time in harsh weather conditions
Ability to lift 20 lbs on a regular basis (boxes, assist children)
Must be able to walk on snow in variable winter conditions
Ski/snowboard ability, preferred
Other Information:
This is a hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed
Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check

The base hourly range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporations total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat area base hourly range: $15.50 - $21.00 per hour
