This position is located in Eagle (Boise), Idaho. Care to relocate to the beautiful Boise, Idaho area? For the ideal candidate we are open to this being a remote work from home location. This position will be the Talent Acquisition Lead for our Services business unit and will be responsible for driving growth of our Veterinarian candidate pool and hires. The primary focus of the role is to build strategies and programs to attract veterinary talent into our company and to provide overall leadership to our veterinary recruiting team. The Director of Recruiting will develop, implement, and manage talent acquisition programs to attract top veterinary talent at all levels to support PetIQ's rapid growth. Job Overview Responsible for establishing short- and long-term goals and action plans for the veterinary talent acquisition team. Partner closely with veterinary leadership to establish a successful, collaborative veterinary recruiting strategy. Develop innovative hiring methodologies through identifying unique and non-traditional sources for finding veterinary candidates. Recruit with the ability to match cultural and environmental fit, in addition to technical skills and experience. Ensure hiring managers and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally. Manage a team ensuring they are being developed and challenged while delivering high quality candidates to Hiring Managers. In partnership with other team members, develop a strategy to launch the PetIQ brand and successfully lead efforts to effectively bring our brand to the market. Provide insights to HR on recruitment strategies and emerging staffing trends. Partner with Hiring Managers on issues relating to recruiting and on-boarding processes. Establish and maintain relationships with employment agencies, external recruiters, professional associations and other organizations that can ensure a continuous pipeline of suitable employment candidates. Ensure that the recruiting function is capable and well aligned with the vision and goals of the organization. Create and deliver optimal interview skills training across the veterinary recruiting team. Develop, implement, and manage full-cycle recruitment processes. Facilitate interview process to ensure positive candidate experiences from interview scheduling to post interview follow-up, ensuring communication throughout all stages. Develop on-boarding to ensure the successful integration into the organization. Develop, implement, and manage staffing metrics and trends. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations with regard to hiring practices, compliance with EEO. Establish departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of veterinary recruiting and team leadership in Talent Acquisition with multi-state, multi-site portfolio of locations. 5+ years' experience developing KPI's / Metrics through ATS reporting. 5+ years' experience managing a Talent Acquisition team. Preferred Qualificatrions Experienced in full cycle recruiting and sourcing in the Veterinary field. Demonstrated experience creating and executing a metrics-driven, consultative service orientated recruitment strategy. Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, influence, and foster trust with stakeholders at all levels, while creating and managing strategic alliances. Strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding. Understanding of all selection method and techniques. Highly organized and able to switch priorities daily. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred. SPHR-CA, PHR-CA or similar preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
