Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE:The District Manager is responsible for the sales and operational practices of all stores within their district. They ensure each retail location within their district achieves or exceeds goals. Manages sales performance, opportunities, strategies, and tactics to achieve optimal store performance. Ensures Retail provides excellent customer experiences and supports employee development.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees all sales operations in assigned districtEvaluates store performance including analyzing labor performance and profitability, provides assessments, and develops store performance ranking systemsCollaborates with retail leaders and support team to support retail workforce planningLeads market share growth strategiesSupports community engagement opportunities and partnershipsEnsures Retail employees provide excellent customer experiences including engaging with customers to evaluate satisfaction as well as offer any complaint resolutionsResponsible for oversight of cash handling procedures, accuracy, and reconciliationsEnsures new hire employees are onboarded, trained, and developed in a consistent mannerEnsures the implementation and use of standardized operations, tools, resources, and systemsManages visual merchandising standards including cleanliness of stores and adherence to uniform policySupport performance management efforts including the development and mentoring of employees in collaboration with leaders and Human ResourcesAligns employee productivity with scheduling needs to manage labor expensesManages store budgeting, P&L financial analysis, and evaluates controllable expensesDevelops store action plans to drive business, to include necessary support.Ensures all locations maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees and customers to include sales floor, back room, manager offices and restroomsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:5 years of retail management experienceBachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMust possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee BadgeExcellent analytical and critical thinking skills to assess data and make informed decisionsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsProficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Sheets, Word, Powerpoint, and ExcelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Cannabis industry experienceExperience with multiple store formats and omni channel retail (in store, online, delivery)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of timeAbility to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxesCOMPENSATION DETAILS:Pay Range: $70,000 to $80,000; actual pay will be determined based on qualifications.Bonus EligibleAccrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2.5 weeks per yearHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance plans availableSupplementary insurance plans available including Life, Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness401k and ROTH 401k plansPowered by JazzHR
