These include a Steamboat and Alterra Mountain ski pass for you and eligible dependents, competitive compensation, retail/rental discounts, food & beverage discounts, industry pro deal discounts, friends & family discounted tickets subject to restrictions, reservations and/or blackout dates, 401(k) plan with a generous company match, (eligibility rules apply), Employee Assistance Program, and a chance to learn and advance within Steamboat Ski & Resort CorpDetailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:Supervise the daily operations and functions of housekeepers; quality control of the all housekeeping staffOrganize and facilitate daily staff meetings and schedule work assignments and morning setup- evening closingAssistance with payroll and tracking of housekeepers hours workedGeneral office duties that include: answering phones, computer skills, updating data in the SMS program, spreadsheets to report and track tips and quality control of housekeepersAnswering guest phone calls and tracking of guest housekeeping requestsAssist with work orders for maintenance requestsReceiving sign for requests/deliveriesAssist with the Lost and Found Log and calls for items lost or foundAssist with Human Resources paperwork as neededPartake with the tracking of housekeeping inventoryEnsure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements.Inspector, housekeeping, houseperson duties as neededOther duties, as assignedMinimum skills, experience, and education for this job:General computer, office, phone and communication skills requiredOne-year previous supervisory experience preferredPrevious office experience preferredPrevious housekeeping preferredBasic knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures (i.e. blood, pests)Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workersBe a consistent role model for companys Service Excellence standardsPhysical Requirements:Must be minimum 18 years of ageMust use vacuum, mop and full bucket of water, and other cleaning-like equipmentMust lift 35 lbs/ push 75 lbs. occasionally (i.e. inspector carts, housekeeper carts, bundles of sheets)Job requires standing, sitting, walking, handling, reaching, stooping and climbing stairs on a daily basisCommunicate clearly in English both written and verbalOther Information:Resume required with online applicationThis is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime payEmployment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background checkPursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporations total compensation package for employees.
