Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an
experience Construction Supervisor! Maximum Comfort Pool & Spas
(MCPS) is hiring a Construction Supervisor to direct all activities
of the construction department as we create incredible pools, spas,
and other outdoor recreational environments. This position requires
experience with outdoor projects like pools and spas, is a hands-on
role, works in the field daily, involves concrete work, masonry,
plumbing, and pool-construction expertise, and has direct
responsibility for the bottom line performance of the department.
The Construction Supervisor leads the construction teams and
manages the materials and equipment needed for each job to ensure
excellence in the construction process while still making a profit.
Major areas of responsibility include personnel management,
scheduling, purchasing, job accounting and customer relations. This
position requires some travel to manage projects around the state.
MCPS offers excellent compensation and benefits! Salary range $90k
- $95k Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance.
MCPSpaysapproximately50% of the premium for the employees medical

active medical coverage. MCPS will reimburse the employee up to 50%

MCPS will reimburse the employee up to 50% of the plan deductible.
DETAILS OF THE JOB: Schedule labor efficiently and effectively to
complete jobs on time and within budget. Coordinate labor with
necessary materials and equipment. Minimize overtime and authorize
only when necessary. Schedule subcontractors when necessary and
coordinate with other company resources. Maintain an up-to-date job
cost accounting system comparing actual costs to budgeted costs on
a daily basis. Recognize when costs begin to get off track and take
corrective action if possible. Manage related paper flows to ensure
timely job cost information. Work with the Construction Coordinator
to invoice customers according to contracts, paying particular
attention to contractor draw dates when working as a subcontractor.
Work with the Construction Coordinator to manage departmental
accounts receivable. Contact customers when necessary to collect
past due amounts. Order all necessary materials on a timely basis
and within budget. Coordinate the delivery of materials to job
sites. Contract with subcontractors when necessary. Directly
supervise the activities of the Construction team. Hire
construction labor and other personnel as needed. Terminate the
employment of departmental personnel when necessary. Provide
training to develop all construction personnel, as necessary.
Conduct regular personnel reviews with all departmental personnel.
Interact with customers and contractors to maintain goodwill.
Handle all complaints, disputes, and warranty claims. Maintain all
company assets assigned to the department. Replace or repair as
needed. Education and Experience High School graduate or equivalent
1+ year management/supervisory experience preferred 3+ years POOL
construction experience Competencies Masonry Concrete work Plumbing
Electrical Skills are a plus Excellent oral and written
communication skills. English required, Spanish a plus Exceptional
customer service Work effectively with a variety of personalities
and styles. Microsoft Office suite skills Ability to solve problems
and creatively address issues and concerns Multi-tasking Strong
leadership skills Organization Physical Demands Must be able to
perform the following functions, with or without accommodations:
Drive truck to construction sites Assist laborers as needed on
construction projects in the field Answer telephones, direct calls,
take messages Operate a computer Move throughout the showroom and
in the other areas of the business Lift up to 45 lbs. Work
Environment This position operates outside in construction zones,
in cold and hot weather, inclement conditions, rough terrain. At
