A minimum of three years of guest service experience is required. Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.: Answer inbound calls and route accordingly to appropriate extensions or take messages as needed Respond to inbound requests for information or directory services Place outbound calls as requested by staff or customers Use diplomacy and tactful judgment in screening and potentially rerouting calls for executives and other limited-access VIPs Self-monitor call times for adherence to efficiency goals Update snow reports and websites daily with current conditions accurately Greet and direct vendors, guests, partners, and co-workers in a positive, helpful, and courteous manner Work on various marketing support projects including data entry, information fulfillment, etc. Must protect confidential and/or sensitive information Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Perform other duties assigned Minimum skills, experience, education, and ability required for this job: High School diploma or GED Must be authorized to work in the US or have a valid work permit Must have a valid drivers license and meet insurability standards Must have at least 3 years of customer service experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills both in person and on the phone Strong Computer skills required with Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Ability to work with a wide variety of people in a cooperative setting Must possess organizational skills and generate accurate work Prioritize and recognize urgent situations Ability to adhere to all safety policies Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards Physical Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to sit for extended periods of time Operate computer for long periods of time Ability to operate a switchboard console(s) Ability to communicate clearly in English both written and verbal Must be able to lift (20 40 lbs.) Have the ability to complete tasks with multiple interruptions Miscellaneous information: This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay You will be asked to work to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled Pursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas. Employees must follow all resort mitigation plans and protocols, which can be found posted on resort buildings and on Beekeeper The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporations total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
