Position Purpose/ Summary

To manage and oversee all aspects and departments of this timeshare ownership property, including but not limited to owner services, rental marketing and sales, the resale program, front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping. To assist in the initiation and execution of strategic plans benefiting the HOA, owners and guests. To provide leadership in customer service, owner relations, and personnel development. Creates an environment where efficiency and economy of operations are maximized. Responsible for all hiring, training, evaluation and firing. Performs tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales and marketing, guest and owner relations, facilities management and capital projects.

Responsible for association budgets, the capital reserve and their associated fiscal performance. Responsible for the proper review and presentation of all business reporting to the Board of Directors of the Association and the Homeowners.

To be the public representative and agent of the management company and the property in the local community, and state and national trade associations.

Essential Duties and

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Association, including but not limited to, the coordination of all operations departments to ensure a rewarding guest and owner experience. Create an environment of comfortable hospitality for owners and guests, providing all services within the framework of the Eagle Point Guiding Principles.


Support the Assistant Manager and other department managers in their decision-making processes. Create achievable goals and strategies for managers and their teams, tracking progress regularly.

Oversee all bookkeeping and accounting tasks associated with the business. Responsible for the accurate financial budgeting, accounting and reporting of balance sheets, income statements, replacement reserve, accounts receivables and legal proceedings to Board of Managers and Owners.

Direct all effective communication with Owners, Guests, staff, support departments, vendors and the community efficiently, consistently portraying a positive image.

Liaise with contractors and designers to ensure that property projects are completed per Board direction. Research, propose, and receive bids for capital projects and repair work. Manage all construction and repair projects.

Oversee the marketing of the property resale and rental programs to prospective clients through the effective use of budgeted funds to generate focused interest and create future business. With support of the EWR marketing team, responsible for the image, positioning, and distribution channels of rental and resale marketing, including, but not limited to, all print, onsite, online and social presence.

Understand and use all aspects of the Property Management System (PMS) and maximize utility of the programs and modules installed. Utilize all systems in an efficient and effective manner to generate data that improves decision-making.

Working with the Owner Services Dept., oversee the semi-annual billing and monthly statement process for owners. Ultimately responsible for the billing and collection of dues assessments and the application of late fees and interest charges. Liaise with the collections agency and legal firm when necessary, and perform all tasks associated with the lien and foreclosure processes.

Facilitate Board of Director, Committee, and Annual Homeowner meetings, including but not limited to, the creation of dynamic presentations and presiding over strategic decision-making processes.

Efficient in all perfunctory duties and systems: Phones, computer and network equipment, verbal and written communication, presentations, email communication, Microsoft Suite of products, Internet and social media channels.

After-hours Manager on Call. Respond to all fire and medical emergencies on property. Devise and implement safety and evacuation plans. Understand all life safety systems and maintain relationships with emergency services agencies.

Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the V.P. of Operations.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

To represent the HOA and its owners through community involvement in volunteerism and charitable programs, local business associations and state and national trade associations.

To create a work environment where staff can achieve their personal as well as professional goals, which includes opportunities for training, education and job knowledge, as well as enriching personal growth programs.

To manage the property and make all strategic decisions within the framework of the Eagle Point and East West Resorts Mission Statements.


and Experience

Education and/or Experience

Undergraduate degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university, business or hospitality major preferred. 3+ years experience directly managing guest service, staff, and departmental expenses. An additional 4+ years of direct hospitality experience can be considered in place of an undergraduate university degree.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common hospitality journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Equipment Utilized

Computer and office equipment.

Computer Operations

Proficient in property managements system, email, Internet, MS Office suite and social media.

Mathematical and Reasoning Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  1. Valid Colorado Drivers License required, Commercial Drivers License if required.

  2. CMCA Certification preferred (required as of July 1, 2015); CHA desired.

  3. ARDA ARP Certification preferred; RRP desired.

  4. CO Real Estate License (or the ability to earn license) desired.

Scope of Authority

Directly responsible for the successful operation of a condo-hotel, including the satisfaction of guests, owners and Board Directors. As an agent of the HOA, fiscally responsible for the performance of the Association, the Rental Program and the Real Estate program.

Financial Authority

Responsible for subordinate wages, all payroll tasks, all fiscal tasks and reporting, and for the generation and distribution of rental revenues.

Has a corporate credit card, can make disbursements from petty cash, and has access to other vendor trade accounts. Does not have direct bank account access.



Manages 2-3 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 15 - 20 employees in the front desk/reservations, engineering, housekeeping, and accounting departments. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
