The Front Desk Lead provides guidance and leadership to the Front Desk Team and is responsible for maintaining and enforcing Brand Standards of Guest Service and procedures to ensure a professional and genuine guest experience to guests, owners, and contractor on behalf of Arrowhead Property Management. The Front Desk Lead will possess outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and presentation skills in order to assist agents, offer guidance, and resolve guest issues and complaints. This position must have excellent problem solving skills and be able to apply good judgment in decision making. Good communication skills are required.

Supervise the day to day front desk operations including the check in and checkout procedures; ensuring rooms have been checked out and that guest's bills are correct. Follow the daily check list and ensure all team members are completing the check list.
Communicating with housekeeping as to the status of rooms, room moves, early arrivals/departures and guest requests.
Using the HOTSOS system, ensuring all items are being entered and followed up on.
Conduct inspections of rental condos and general areas when needed.
Act as the Manager on Duty when necessary and carry out the duties required of a manager.
Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity.
Oversee the completion of pre-arrival, mid-stay, and other follow up calls for guests. Keep Front Desk Manager informed of any issues.
Be actively involved in front desk special projects, task and initiatives.
Have knowledge about condos, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by Arrowhead Property Management
Develops a strong working relationship with co-workers and managers throughout the property to ensure communication and teamwork are at optimum levels.
Fulfill and troubleshoot reservation and guest issues.
Assist with training new and existing front desk agents on the check in and checkout procedures adhering to standards and ensuring quality service.
Assist HOA managers with billing and ordering
Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and lobby area
Practices safe work habits in all types of duties and with all equipment.
Complies with all Vail Resorts policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
Embraces and promotes Vail Resorts Values.
Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and maintains a positive attitude toward all employees, managers, and guests.
Other duties as assigned by managers


High school diploma or equivalent - required
College degree - preferred
Previous guest/customer service experience - required
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral - required
Proficient at MS Word and Excel required
Valid Drivers License
Ability to multitask in high volume situations.
Ability to reasonably and rationally handle guest complaints and questions with diplomacy and tact
Flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends and holidays- required
In-person interview- required

The budgeted range starts at $15.00 - $19.50. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
