POSITION PURPOSE: The HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Infosystems. The Analyst will support and maintain the organization#s HRIS applications and modules. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules. 2. Reviews metrics for reasonableness and accuracy. Resolves routine discrepancies. Brings more complex problems to the attention of the operations manager for direction and resolution 3. Provides instruction, training, and work direction as needed for data entry, work priorities, processing schedules, and procedures. Resolves problems associated with data input with timekeepers, payroll, information systems, and departmental managers in a complex environment. 4. Responds to inquiries from various clients in a complex environment regarding procedures, and processing 5. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users. 6. Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; maintains knowledge of trends and recommends and implements solutions. 7. Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users. 8. Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports. 9. Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff. 10. Serves as a lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects. Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.# 11. Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values. 12. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 3 years human resources experience (HR) required. 5+ years HRIS experience Experience report writing in HRIS systems . Proven experience of working in an HR role and a confidential environment Customer service, oral and written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills required. Knowledge of and ability to conduct research on federal and state labor and wage laws, record retention, and other essential compliance issues required Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Effective oral and written communication skills. Able to synthesize and communicate complicated information to all audiences Certification(s): Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SCP), or comparable HR, Payroll or Compensation certification preferred Computer / Typing: Experience in using electronic HRIS systems required, UltiPro/UKG desirable Proficient in MS Office products, including Excel skills Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, project and report management, etc. Education: Bachelor#s degree required
