Our IT Department is looking for a Business Analyst! College or vocational training plus minimum of three years experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of computerized salespoints, associated peripherals, and software is required.

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:

* Clearly document and prioritize issues discovered in the system or reported by users in our incident tracking system and facilitate their resolution by working with vendors, the IT operations team, other Steamboat departments, third parties or resolving the issue yourself. Provide continual feedback to users. Software includes but is not limited to Inntopia, RTP, SMS, and Open Table. * Facilitate software configuration changes that are required by business such as adding new users/products/locations, changing from summer to winter configurations, and implementing interfaces to other software. Ensure that software maintains compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). * Assist users in obtaining information from guest service application databases, which requires a clear understanding of the various systems' underlying database structure. Provide user support with data access, utilizing query and report writer tools including MS SQL, SQL Reporting Services and Visual Studio. Present reports in an easy to understand format. Maintain the reporting data warehouse. * Assist with install of new software versions and patches. Clean databases seasonally and ensure they are running at peak performance. Ensure backup and recovery programs are documented and tested. Retire software when no longer needed. * Complete software projects requiring tracking of timeline, budget, and resources. * Clearly understand business practices and policy. Conduct meetings when requirements change or need to be better defined. * Assist with annual budgeting for software, contract tracking, updating software portfolio * Develop regression and acceptance testing when new software versions, bug fixes, and enhancements require them. Act as liaison between lines of business, IT, and vendors. * Identify and quantify software's benefits, disadvantages, and redundancy to determine value to business processes. Develop detailed requirements including cost-benefit analysis for projects and enhancements. Recommend change, purchase, or retirement of software based on findings. * Other Duties, as assigned

Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:

* RTP|One (ticket, pass, F&B, rental, retail and ski school POS) experience preferred. * Ability to create queries and reports using Microsoft SQL tools. * Knowledge of call centers with multiple vendors. * College or vocational training and experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of computerized salespoints, associated peripherals, and software required * Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and general network knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to work in cramped spaces such as under desks, behind computer equipment and in wiring closets * Must be able to lift and carry computers, monitors, printers and other equipment on a regular basis * Use various hand tools such as screwdrivers, cable crimpers, etc. * Must be minimum of 18 years of age

* This is an salary - exempt position that is not subject to overtime pay * Resume required * Employment is contingent of the successful completion of a background check * Pursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas. The base salary pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation salary pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat area base salary pay range: $52,000 - $90,000 per year
