hourPay rate is dependent on education and experienceEssential

functionsRemoves, repairs, and installs major components in varying
configurations of equipmentCommunicates with customers on the
diagnosis and status of repairs, parts, and other
concernsAccurately troubleshoots and repairs CAT equipment the
first timeReads, understands, and applies electrical and hydraulic
schematics to repair workMakes determinations in the field on
warranty repair and guidelines, communicating decisions to customer
and dispatcherWorks with the Service Department, Product Support
Representatives, and Sales Department to meet all of the customer's
needsMaintains truck and crane inspection logs, and CAT Service
reports on a daily basisMaintains tooling in good working order as
per MSHA and OSHA regulationsMaintains service vehicle in safe and
good repairTeaches and coaches other technicians in the
fieldPromotes Wagner Equipment Co. to customersOther duties as
assigned by managerRequired Education and Experience:High School
Diploma or GEDRelevant CAT accredited courses5+ years experience
working on Caterpillar Equipment OR 5+ years in heavy equipment,
engine, or electric power generation system repair (EX:
Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Etc.)1-3 years
administrative/clerical experience3-5 years customer service
experience3-5 years sales experienceAdditional Eligibility
Requirements:DOT Health CardClass D Driver's LicenseMSHA
LicenseMust pass all required pre-employment screenings which may
include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol
testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related
tests/screeningsCompetencies:Data entry, telephone,

SkillsProduct & Safety KnowledgeBasic Knowledge of Microsoft Word
