Position:Coffee Bar AttendantDate Written:May 2023Reports to:Store ManagerDepartment:Job Status:Non-ExemptJob Summary: Brews and serves Gorsuch customers coffee, tea, and chocolate using coffee urns, drip or vacuum coffee makers, teapots, drink mixers, and other kitchen equipment by performing the following duties.Duties/Responsibilities:Greets customers and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions.Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and the customers' requests.Serves prepared food items.Maintains knowledge of menu items and recipes to effectively service the customer.Operate the cash register and take payments with US currency or credit card.Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing.Maintains appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.Adheres to Gorsuch safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Ensures security of company assets.Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.Required Skills/Abilities:Maintains excellent customer service, anticipating guests needs.Must represent the Gorsuch culture and principles and serve as a brand ambassador.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-starter with a positive attitude who can work with many different teams and people.Education/Experience:Previous experience as a coffee bar attendant/barista or in a related position preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing and working on your feet.Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00 hourly + tips
