This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy cath lab equipped with advanced Phillips suites, serving a large 272-bed hospital with a collaborative team of techs and RNs. Location Overview:Situated near Denver, this position offers access to the scenic Rocky Mountains and a vibrant, active community. Key Responsibilities: - Perform basic cath lab procedures with precision, including scrubbing in and patient monitoring - Assist with conscious moderate sedation under supervision - Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care - Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation protocols within EMR systems (Meditech and Mac Lab) Qualifications: - Mandatory: Current BLS and ACLS certification - Preferred: RCIS and ARRT certifications; EP experience is advantageous but not required - Prior experience in cath lab environments demonstrating scrubbing, monitoring, and sedation skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage stressful situations calmly - Team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to patient care Schedule & Call Expectations: - Day Shift: 6:30 AM 4:30 PM - Approximately 7-8 days of on-call per month, including one weekend; night shifts are on call - Call response time: within 30 minutes from residential areas around South Denver and surrounding suburbs This travel assignment is ideal for a motivated technologist eager to work in a supportive, fast-paced unit with skilled colleagues.
