UCHealth is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic Imaging Services team. As a key member of our healthcare system, the Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services in a patient-focused environment, ensuring the highest quality of care and patient comfort. Working at UCHealth, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to our mission of advancing the health and well-being of individuals across Colorado. Operate digital mammography equipment to perform breast imaging examinations according to protocol. Maintain patient records and prepare procedural reports for radiologists' review. Assist in maintaining the accreditation requirements and standards set by regulatory agencies. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and address concerns. Adhere to safety and health regulations in handling radiographic equipment. Proficiency in using mammography imaging technology. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Empathy and professionalism in patient interactions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state licensure as required. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
