UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered care in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist I to join our Outpatient Hand Therapy team. This role focuses on treating patients after injury or surgery, aiming to rehabilitate and enhance their hand and upper limb functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of hand therapy techniques and will be committed to enabling patient success through innovative therapy solutions. Evaluate patient condition and medical history to effectively create and implement treatment plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment for hand and arm rehabilitation. Use therapeutic equipment to aid in patient recovery and manage pain. Educate patients and their families on post-therapy care routines. Maintain accurate patient records and monitor progressions or setbacks. Adapt treatment plans in response to patient feedback and recovery advancements. Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques specific to hand therapy. Ability to operate and maintain various therapy equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Colorado. Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred or willingness to pursue certification within two years of employment.
