Job Description:
UCHealth invites applications for the position of RN ED Regional
Float Pool Nights. This role is crucial for maintaining
high-quality emergency care across our various facilities. The
selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to
providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment,
ensuring adaptability across multiple UCHealth emergency
departments. As a regional float pool nurse, you will have the
unique opportunity to work across different settings while
maintaining the highest standards of care, comfort, and treatment
of patients in emergency situations. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate
patient care in various emergency department settings within the
region. Document patient findings and maintain accurate records.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and swiftly react to
emergencies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired
patient outcomes. Engage in patient and family education concerning
illness treatment and prevention. Ensure compliance with health and
safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for patients and
staff. Skilled in emergency response and able to manage acute
patient crises efficiently. Proficiency in using medical software
for patient records and hospital database. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure
situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in
the state of Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Preferred: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
