This position is pivotal in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of trauma care provided at our facilities. The RN Trauma PI Nurse will be integral in conducting trauma program performance improvement activities, ensuring that trauma care standards are consistently met and refined. Review and analyze trauma cases for quality and adherence to protocols. Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary trauma review meetings. Develop and deliver educational programs for the trauma team. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with national standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in trauma care. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for regulatory compliance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information. Proficient in data collection, analysis, and management software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
