Job Description:

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN specializing in Pre/Post Cardiac and Vascular care to support our dynamic team within our Colorado-based healthcare system. In this role, the successful candidate will provide critical nursing services to cardiac and vascular patients before and after procedures, ensuring high-quality healthcare and patient satisfaction. This position requires travel between multiple facilities, offering the opportunity to work in a variety of settings while upholding the standards of excellence that UCHealth is known for. Administer pre-operative and post-operative care to cardiac and vascular patients. Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress, adjusting care plans as needed. Educate patients and families on procedure details, recovery processes, and health maintenance. Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure seamless continuity of care during patient transfers between departments or facilities. Strong clinical skills in cardiac and vascular patient care Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using medical software and EMR systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS/ACLS Certification required Certification in Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (RN-BC) preferred
