Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Nurse
Manager to join our dynamic team in the Colorado region. This role
is critical in ensuring that the highest standards of nursing care
are met and maintained across our facilities. The Associate Nurse
Manager will play a key role in managing our nursing staff,
coordinating patient care programs, and contributing to the
development of policies and procedures. This position requires a
blend of leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for
patient-centered care. Oversees daily operations of nursing staff
and ensures adherence to quality standards, policies, and
procedures. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and healthcare team
to implement effective patient care programs. Assists in the
recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff. Promotes a
culture of safety and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Participates in the budgeting process and manages department
resources efficiently. Conducts regular staff meetings to
disseminate updates and gather feedback. Mentors and develops
personnel, fostering a positive environment for professional
growth. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make quick and
effective decisions. Proficient in healthcare management systems
and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN)
license in the state of Colorado. Certification in Nurse Management
(CNML) or similar is highly desirable.
