Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN for our
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to work night shifts at
our advanced healthcare facilities in Colorado. The role involves
providing top-tier, specialized nursing care to patients with
severe cardiac conditions in a fast-paced environment. Successful
candidates will become part of a supportive team dedicated to
patient-centered care, utilizing the latest in medical technology
and practices to deliver superior healthcare services. Provide
direct and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients
with cardiovascular issues. Monitor patients' vital signs,
administer medication, and record and communicate patient
conditions as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare professionals
to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments. Educate patients
and their families on disease processes, treatment, and prevention.
Handle medical emergencies with precision and ethical
consideration. Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular care and
life-support technologies. Ability to work effectively in
high-pressure environments. High proficiency in using medical
software for patient management. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
applicable to Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS certification
preferred.
