Job Description:
UCHealth seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Technician Outpatient I to
join our team at a Colorado-based nonprofit healthcare system. As
part of our organization, you will aid in delivering top-notch
patient-centered care by assisting with the management of
medication and information to ensure optimal outcomes. The ideal
candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, proficiency in
pharmaceutical terminology, and a passion for patient care within a
dynamic outpatient setting. Assist pharmacists in the preparation
and dispensing of medications Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy
and completeness before processing Handle medication supply and
inventory, ensuring proper storage and security conditions of
pharmaceuticals Supporting the pharmacist in maintaining records of
patient therapy and pharmacy inventory Provide patient-centered
service including medication therapy and counseling Operate and
maintain pharmacy equipment Engage in continuous education and
training to keep up-to-date with the latest practices in pharmacy
operations Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented and
able to multitask effectively Knowledge of pharmaceutical
terminology and pharmacy calculations Ability to maintain strict
confidentiality regarding patient health information Medical

Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
