Description:? - Confirms patient identification and understanding
of procedure prior to starting. Performs thorough and accurate
routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physicians. - Presents all
STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion. - Responds
immediately to ‘Code Blue’ as required. - Provides patient with
emotional support. Performs specialized testing using
computer-assisted devices, including holter/event monitor
application, signal-averaged EKG, and treadmill stress tests. -
Maintains and reviews equipment, ensuring proper function and
calibration, and informs biomed of malfunctions. The expertise and
experiences you’ll need to succeed: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Grad or Equiv (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
(BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified
Cardiographic Technician (CCT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Pay
