An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care to join a team in Arvada, CO, on a contract basis. This role requires a current DORA license and offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic surgical environment focused on orthopedic, spine, and minimally invasive procedures using advanced technology. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a current DORA license in hand BLS certification required Experience in orthopedic, spine, Davinci robotic surgery, Mako robotics, Globus, and laparoscopic procedures preferred Strong teamwork and collaborative skills are essential Prior exposure to Stryker equipment and Meditech EMR is advantageous Location Details:Position based near Centennial Hospital in the Denver metropolitan area, known for its access to outdoor activities, cultural venues, and a balanced urban-suburban lifestyle. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a 4-OR 1 Endoscopy unit Assist with surgical procedures, primarily orthopedic and spine surgeries, leveraging technology such as robotic systems Collaborate closely with surgical teams including RNs, Certified Surgical Technologists, and support staff Adhere to unit policies and dress code, including wearing light blue OR scrubs provided onsite Maintain patient safety and comfort, ensuring compliance with all hospital and department standards Schedule/Hours: Day shift, 7 AM to 5 PM Additional Highlights: Work in a well-supported unit with experienced staff Utilize cutting-edge surgical equipment Engage in a culture that values teamwork and collaboration Scrubs and other onsite resources provided to facilitate your role This contract role is ideal for RNs looking to expand their surgical nursing experience in a competitive and technologically advanced setting.
