Veterinary Neurology TechnicianWelcome to Animal Emergency &

dedicated and detail-oriented Neurology Technician to join our
fast-paced, state-of-the-art neurology department. Our dynamic team
specializes in both neurology and neurosurgery and is equipped with
advanced MRI and CT imaging technology. In this role, the Neurology
Technician will be responsible for monitoring anesthesia during MRI
procedures and neurosurgical cases. This position offers a unique
opportunity to gain hands-on experience with complex and
challenging neurological conditions, and to deepen your
understanding of brain function and neurological disease.--**WE ARE

AREA!***Compensation:$25 - $34 hourly, based on experience$$ SIGN
ON BONUS!!Anticipated Schedule:Full TimeTuesdays to Fridays4x10
hour shifts7am-5pmOn Call Rotation DutiesEssential
Functions:Technical skills: venipuncture, blood draw, placing IV
catheter, lab sample collectionAdmitting and discharging procedural
and surgical cases.Dispensing medications directed by
veterinarianPreparing estimates and collecting payment from
clients.Assisting doctor with outpatient appointments, consults and
rechecks.Anesthesia monitoring, endotracheal intubation, assisting
the doctor with surgical cases, including scrubbing into
surgery.Ability to multitask in fast paced environment with a
positive attitudeSurgical assisting: preparing and maintaining the
surgical environmentCalculate drug dosages (IV, IM and SQ) of any
pre-induction medications, and administering the sameProfessional
client communicationQualificationsMinimum Requirements:High school
diploma or equivalent.At least 2 years of Veterinary Technician
experience required in a surgical setting Registered Veterinary
Technician, in Colorado, or the ability to become registered upon
hire.Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for
the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!Preferred
Qualifications:At least 2 years of Veterinary Technician experience
in a Specialty Hospital Experience with performing anesthesia for
MRI or CT scans Experience with more critical anesthesiaAbility to
multitask and anticipate the department's needs.Excellent
communication. Experience using Medical Record and Whiteboard
