for people so they can be their best. --- The Business Development
Manager is responsible for securing new rental contracts by
creating and cultivating relationships with realtors, soliciting
new owners and by working with the property managers to create a
seamless process to grow our Rental and Association Management
program and help maintain long term relationships between the
owners, the realtors and Destination Residences Vail. This is a
part time hourly role starting at $30 per hour plus commissions.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
Responsibilities: o Obtain copies of our competitors' rental
contracts if possible o Create and cultivate relationships with the
realtors who sell units in our current portfolio. o The Business
Development Manager will be the main point of contact for all
realtors with listings in our current and future properties. Visit
Real Estate offices Create a Real Estate Referral program Join Vail
Board of Realtors --- Sign up for new listing announcements Reach
out to listing owners Reach out to any interested purchasing Assist
with any questions Respond to any inquiries/ return calls / emails
Create and provide marketing collateral Assist with setting up
showings (may include some weekends / on-call type situation with
the realtors) Consult with the GM's, Owner Manager and assist with
HOA questions Review benefits with prospective owners / realtors
Review and present contracts to owners and secure the rental
Turnover / introductions to General Managers/ Owner Manager once
the contract is signed. Create new owner packets Onboard new owners
o Finesse marketing collateral to include a comparative stay
analysis o Business Development Manager and Area GM/ GM will create
a 1,3, and 5 year solicitation/ sales strategies that includes both
Rental and Association Management Within Vail Looking outside Vail
o Meet weekly with Area GM/ GM to review solicitations and progress
Business Development Manager Functions: --- Create Tracking
spreadsheet of all rental Opportunities o Property o Unit (details)
o Owner o Owner Contact Information o Rental Company o Rental
Company Link to Unit Details o Outreach tracking o Notes ---
Collect all collateral and Marketing information --- Synchronize
all collateral in the Destination Vail Mountain Collection ---
Coordination with GMs and Revenue Department --- Update and
maintain blank rental contracts --- Start outreach o Build a Case
for each unit o Phone call o E-mail o Mailings and Create
