    • Critical Illness and Accident plans - Job Summary - Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Food and Beverage team is no exception to creating this experience of a lifetime. Restaurant Team Leaders are an integral part of restaurant operations responsible for leading the floor service, assisting management with operational needs, promoting teamwork amongst staff and maintaining service quality and safety to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. - Additionally, this role will be responsible for setting the tone for excellent guest service in the restaurant, as well as leading floor services in the dining room. - Job Specifications: -

      • Other Specifics: Is able to acknowledge and cater to Vail Mountain Club members while balancing public dining needs. Job Responsibilities -
        • Attend to all guest needs in the restaurant ensuring responsive, friendly, and courteous service. -
        • Warmly welcomes and greets, by name when possible.
        • Sets the example for all other staff for service standards, menu knowledge, wine and beverage education, and overall service excellence.
        • Answers phones and radio working directly with other personnel to maintain the dining areas, including set up and busing of tables as needed -
        • Responsible for managing and organizing the reservations system - taking care of future reservations and maintaining wait lists.
        • Assists guests, and coordinates seating all guests, while controlling the flow of guests and seats them promptly.
        • Works on the floor in the restaurant, exceeding member and guest satisfaction as well as completing management reports pertaining to revenue accounting, tip disbursements and recording, scheduling, ordering products and equipment, payroll, inventory and keeping daily manager logs. -
        • Assists in the ongoing training of staff and provides any necessary feedback -
        • Enforce and comply with all applicable regulations pertaining to health and safety requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
        • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
        • Ensure cleanliness and operation of restaurant and equipment through inspection and adherence to preventative maintenance programs - -
        • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
        • Responsible for all forms of cash handling throughout restaurant including register drawers, safe, deposits, and change orders.
        • Other duties as assigned - Job Requirements -
          • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required -
          • Minimum 3 years of restaurant experience - required.
          • One year of restaurant supervisory or managerial responsibilities - preferred
          • Must have excellent leadership, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
          • Experience with reservation systems, reservation maximization, floor management,
            and phone systems.
          • Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours -
          • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. -
          • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment under pressure -
          • Available to work holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, December 26th through January 2nd, Presidents' Day Weekend, and any other holidays as requested -required.
          • ServSafe (or ability to obtain) - required
          • Must be able to communicate fluently in English - The budgeted range starts at -$24. - Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. Vail Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
