Quality Engineer II is responsible for ensuring that suppliers meet
the quality standards required for our products. This position
offers an excellent opportunity to further develop skills in
quality engineering and supplier management within a dynamic and
innovative environment. The role involves working closely with
suppliers to resolve quality issues, conducting audits, and
supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position is
ideal for individuals with a few years of experience in quality
engineering who are looking to make a significant impact on product
quality and supplier performance. In this role, you will develop
and implement supplier quality assurance processes and procedures,
conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with
AS9100/ISO9100 standards, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve
quality issues and implement corrective actions. You will support
the inspection and testing of incoming materials and components to
ensure they meet specified requirements, maintain accurate records
of supplier performance and quality metrics, and prepare quality
reports and documentation. Additionally, you will participate in
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality and
performance, provide support for data entry and analysis related to
supplier quality, and enforce processes and procedures to ensure
supplier compliance. Furthermore, you will participate in root
cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities to address and
resolve quality-related issues effectively. About You Our mission

preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum
Qualifications: Requires bachelor's degree in a related field (or
equivalent work experience in lieu of degree). Typically, 2 years
of related experience. Proficient in Integrated Product Development
Process (IPDP)/Product Lifecycle and lean process. Demonstrated
experience enforcing processes and procedures. Experience
participating in audits and RCCA. Knowledge of inspection
equipment, conducting basic audits, and analyzing data. Preferred
Qualifications: Strong understanding of electrical systems and
components with proven ability to interpret electrical schematics,
identify potential quality issues in circuit design, and implement
appropriate testing protocols to ensure product reliability and
safety. Certifications: CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), IPC620,
IPC610, J-STD-001S. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
with the ability to analyze data and identify trends. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. Ability
to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple
tasks and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis
and reporting. Familiarity with quality management software and
tools, such as Minitab, SAP QM, or similar systems. Experience with
statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control
methodologies. Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques, such as
8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams. Understanding of geometric
dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and its application in
quality inspections. Experience in the aerospace or defense
industry, with an understanding of industry-specific quality
requirements and standards. Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with
non-conformance reporting and corrective action processes.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous
improvement methodologies. Knowledge of advanced inspection
techniques and equipment, such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring
Machine) and optical comparators. Willingness to travel up to 25%
of the time required for supplier site audits, quality assessments,
corrective action follow-ups, and manufacturing process
validations. Compensation : Pay Range: $88,452.00 - $121,643.25
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case
basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills,
education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
