We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the
development of our digital services platform at Vail Resorts. This
platform powers both the mobile and web front-ends that deliver
seamless, personalized experiences to our guests. The ideal
candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with deep technical
expertise in modern service architectures and a passion for
building high-performing teams. As a key member of the Guest
Experience Technology team, you will oversee agile engineering
teams responsible for services built in both Node.js and .NET Core
and hosted in the cloud. You will drive platform consistency,
foster engineering excellence, and partner closely with product and
architecture leaders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality
delivery. Your leadership will directly impact the performance,
reliability, and innovation of our guest-facing digital products.
Job Specifications: Starting Wage: $140,000 - $170,000 annual bonus

Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Coaching Manage and mentor
Technical Leads and engineers across multiple agile teams. Foster a
culture of trust, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Support
hiring, onboarding, and career developmen Platform Delivery &
Execution Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of platform services
and features. Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to
align engineering priorities with business goals. Monitor delivery
progress, remove blockers, and drive operational excellence.
Technical Direction & Governance Partner with Platform Architect to
guide platform architecture and technical strategy. Promote
engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, and
documentation. Advocate for platform scalability, reliability, and
security. Cross-Team Collaboration Facilitate coordination across
teams and stakeholders (Scrum of Scrums, Architecture Syncs, PI
Planning). Communicate risks, progress, and outcomes to leadership
and cross-functional partners. Job Requirements: Demonstrated
experience leading engineering teams in agile environments, with a
focus on delivery, quality, and team growth. Strong technical
fluency in modern service architectures, including: Node.js and
.NET Core for backend development. Cloud-hosted environments such
as Azure, including containerized services in Kubernetes. RESTful
API design and integration. Ability to collaborate effectively with
architects and technical leads to support architectural decisions
and ensure alignment across teams. Familiarity with engineering
best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps
workflows. Comfortable guiding teams through technical trade-offs,
prioritization, and platform improvements. Skilled in translating
technical concepts into delivery plans and communicating with
cross-functional stakeholders. Experience working within scaled
agile frameworks and coordinating across multiple teams. ?The
expected Total Compensation for this role is $140,000 - $170,000
annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a
