This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a strong technical background in heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining loaders, haul trucks, conveyor belts, and dozers. This is a hands-on position that requires a proactive individual who is ready to take on a variety of tasks and challenges. As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: 1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, conveyor belts, and dozers. 2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on various equipment. 3. Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs, and replacements. 4. Ensure all machinery and equipment are kept in good working condition and meet safety standards. 5. Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol. 6. Document and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work. 7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and efficiency. 8. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance job performance and equipment functionality. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with loaders, haul trucks, conveyor belts, and dozers. 2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. 3. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy machinery. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with other team members. 7. Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints. 8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and machinery. 9. High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in a related field is a plus.
