Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated
Staff Accountant to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this
role, you will be instrumental in managing key accounting processes
and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position is
ideal for individuals who excel in dynamic environments and are
committed to maintaining high standards in financial operations.
Responsibilities: • Perform daily accounting tasks such as journal
entries, account reconciliations, and accruals to maintain accurate
records. • Support month-end and quarter-end closing procedures to
ensure timely and precise financial reporting. • Reconcile and
analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for
discrepancies. • Prepare detailed schedules and provide
documentation for both internal and external audits. • Collaborate
with operational teams and financial planning groups to address
accounting issues and identify trends. • Identify and implement
process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in
accounting workflows. • Assist in financial reporting, budgeting,
and variance analysis to support organizational goals. • Ensure
compliance with internal controls and company policies to uphold
financial integrity.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or
a related discipline. • At least one year of general accounting
experience; healthcare accounting experience is a plus. • Strong
grasp of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Oracle Fusion is advantageous. •
Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize complex
information. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to
collaborate effectively with team members. • Experience with
corporate tax return preparation and general ledger management. •
Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
processes.
